The Modern Muse Book Signing Event
My first official book signing was truly a humbling experience. I'd read so much about the disappoinments of low turn out and how humbling it would be for a first time author. The "experts" were right about one thing - it was truly a humbling experience. But what humbled me was the manifestation of God's grace and promise. Of course, I expected my friends and family to show up, but so many more showed up, too. The owners of the shop went far above and beyond to spread the word about the event and my work. I met some very inspirational women and saw the depth of my family and friends' love and support for my work. I stepped into the calling on my life and God provided loving encouragement throughout. I am so thankful and, yes - humbled!
